(Re)Connection – 4 sessions. 28 days.

 In Uncategorized

Note: The time has been changed to 11AM Thursdays for The (Re)Connection Series.

Psychologist, gratitude researcher and author Robert Emmons states, “The act of writing your blessings translates your thoughts into words, and writing has been shown to have advantages over just thinking the thoughts. Writing helps to organize thoughts, facilitate integration and helps you accept your own experiences and put them into context.”

As we phase ourselves out of quarantine, let’s embrace the shift with pens, papers, words & gratitudes.

I’m excited to be offering a 4 week series titled (Re)Connection. Join an exclusive group of women (via Zoom) as we take a deep dive into gratitude with journals and pens. Finally! For our closing session, we will re-connect in person on July 16. That’s right, a socially-distanced, face-to-face, good old fashioned par-tay!

When? Three consecutive Thursdays on Zoom – June 25, July 2, July 9 at 11AM. Each session will be 45 minutes long. The final session will be held ~3-5PM on July 16 in Banff (exact location TBA.)

Cost? $100 (includes 3 zoom sessions + 1 wine & cheese gathering).

Group size? To keep the group intimate, I’m accepting a maximum of 8 participants.

From journal to journey, here’s what to expect:

  1. In the company of a small group, you will use gratitude as a tool to reinforce your personal priorities and celebrate your joys, acknowledge challenges and ultimately increase your confidence.
  2. You will be encouraged to extend your gratitude to those in your circles of care – your supporters, your friends, your families, or members of your personal micro-community. It’s a fact – when your personal burdens grow heavier, your networks of support have a greater burden to carry and everyone could use a little more appreciation.
  3. By sharing stories with others who are interested in gratitude, we will all learn more about trusting the universe, and believing in the power of the kindness.
